This is one MIDI footcontrolIer that won't make you go "EEK!"

A Mouse and a Fuzzy Pink Bunny walk into a bar...

While the MIDI Mouse can be powered by most standard 9V DC adapters, it is the only MIDI footcontrolIer available also operable with a 9V battery. The MIDI Mouse can be turned on and used 2,000 times with each battery.

A Rocket Scientist and a Scarecrow walk into a bar...

The MIDI Mouse is exceptionally user-friendly. Whether you're a master or dunce when it comes to MIDI, this footcontroller will bring plug-in-and-play simplicity back into your life.

David and Goliath walk into a salad bar...

Housed in a sturdy case aluminum box, the MIDI Mouse measures a mere 4-1/2" x 3-1/2". Its stomp box format features 3 footswitches. The Active/Search footswitch alternates between two modes. In Active, the 3-digit numerical display remains lit. The Up and Down footswitches change the patches sequentially and instantly send the information through the MIDI Out port. In Search mode, the numerical display blinks. Using the Up or Down footswitches, you can scroll forward or backward to a desired location without sending any patch change information. Depressing the Active/Search footswitch re-engages the Active mode and instantly sends the new MIDI program number through the MIDI Out port.

That's just about all you need to know to access 128 patches on any of the 16 selectable MIDI channels. There are a few more details in what is probably the world's smallest owner's manual for a MIDI product, and you will also find computer jargon conspicuously absent.

A Hand and an Eyeball walk into a bar...

In a recording studio, the MIDI Mouse can easily sit on a console. The smooth-action custom actuators give you fingertip control for instant remote program change.

A Bat and an Albino walk into a bar...

On stage and in the studio, the large, non-glare LED display can be read from any angle, in daylight or darkness.

So, what's the punchline???

Tech 21 is very serious about offering useful, cost-effective products, such as the highly-acclaimed SansAmp(TM) line of Tube Amplifier Emulators, the first triple channel switching stomp box --the TRI-O.D., and the XXL distortion pedal with its unique Warp control that manipulates odd and even harmonics. The MIDI Mouse is rugged, compact, and battery operable. Simple, unintimidating, affordable. So, a propeller head and a gremlin walk into a bar...
